FOTW (Flags Of The World) is a website and flag database devoted to vexillology (the study of Flags). As of July 2001, FOTW is a full member
of FIAV (Fédération internationale des associations vexillologiques).
The North American Vexillological Association (NAVA) is a scholarly, non-profit, volunteer organization dedicated to the pursuit of
Vexillology, the scientific study of flag history and symbolism in the United States and Canada. Its members come from all fields of vexillology, including flag collectors and historians,
government officials, museum directors, flag dealers and manufacturers, writers, designers, and teachers, as well as those interested in flags as a hobby.
The Flag Institute is a membership-based flag organisation - the largest in the world, with members on all six continents - and is also the
United Kingdom's vexillogical organization.
